Sony Classical artist and JUNO Award winner, Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Orquesta Sinfónica Sinaloa de las Artes and Artistic Director of Festival Stradivaria, Alexandre Da Costa is a conductor of international renown.


Highly sought after for guest conducting engagements, he has led over 2,000 concerts across four continents and more than 30 countries, appearing in prestigious venues including Vienna’s Musikverein, Berlin’s Philharmonie, and New York’s Carnegie Hall, with top orchestras such as the London Royal Philharmonic and the Vienna Symphony (Wiener Symphoniker).
Da Costa’s conducting is distinguished by clarity, precision, and expressive energy across a wide symphonic repertoire. A distinctive feature of his artistry is the Play & Conduct technique, leading selected works directly from the violin, combining the roles of soloist and conductor in performance.
